Mr. Bennett has over twenty years experience restructuring and growing high technology businesses. Proven ability to create new business opportunities for large companies by redeploying their existing technology base. Work with start-up companies to rapidly position them for successful business launch. Clients include Dupont, Interval Research Corp, 3M, Mitsubishi Electric, Quantum, Sun, Digital Research, HP, Aprex Corp and SGI.
Previous management experience includes roles as CEO, Director of Product Development, Director of Marketing and Product Manager. Established CP/M as the first industry standard personal computer operating system. Lead turn- around of Research Systems Inc and the development of Enterprise Java as the first enterprise application of Java. Invented the first Internet-based pill bottle, coined the phrase Information Appliance.
Graduated Stanford University with a B.S. in Mathematical Physics. Mentored by Silicon Valley innovators Fred Terman, Barney Oliver and Alan Kay, and Total Quality Management pioneer, W. Edwards Deming.
