Self-Referral Communications Process
This is a proprietary tool offered through Corporate CPR to align the practitioner with the organizing power inherent in one's Present Moment.
During my early days as a consultant, I realized that my communications process with clients was riddled with fear, doubt and guilt. I was afraid that conversations would not bear the fruits I sought, had doubts about how to proceed when they showed signs of derailing and felt guilty with the outcomes received. In addition, I noticed that I behaved as one person with clients, another with coworkers and I showed up in, yet, another way with friends, family and acquaintances. Seeing this, I wondered which "me" I actually was and why I was unable to be just one person, all of the time.
What I discovered was that I conducted myself in this manner because of a hidden-belief that told me I could not be who I was and achieve what I wanted. To compensate, I had learned to pretend to be someone else I believed was more deserving of what I desired, which meant that I was never present to appreciate the outcomes achieved.
To correct this belief, I observed what was taking place during interactions to discover my mind was constantly jumping from thoughts about the past to those about the future, but seldom was in the Present Moment. Also, I noticed there was fear when my mind was in the future, guilt when in the past and doubt when suspended between the two. I began to wonder, if dwelling in the past and future resulted in fear and guilt, what would happen if I remained in the Present Moment?
I was fortunate to learn that, despite the fickled nature of my mind, there were aspects of myself that always resided in the Present; one was my body and the other was my breath. From this insight, I experimented with the means by which I could accomplish three things while engaged in the communications process: remain in the Present Moment, notice when I had left and locate the path back.
The result was The Self-Referral Communications Process; a practice that returns any practitioner to the power and authenticity that is inherent in their present moment.
